Description Waterproofing agent for roof., TEAIS SK FILM ?

Elastic cover for waterproofing "in situ" based on acrilic styrene copolymers in watery emulsion that once it is dry forms a flexible, waterproofing and durable coat. Very suitable for waterproofing decks made of catalonian tiles, wood, tiles, brick, mortar, concrete, bitumen sheets with mineral or aluminium finishes, fibercement, zinc, etc. For the protection of dividing walls, treatments of chimneys joinings, etc. Available on white, grey, black and red tile colours.

It is used in waterproofings of decks, crossable decks on several supports such as tiles, fibercement, zinc, aluminium, wood, tiles, bricks, mortars, bitumen sheets finished in mineral grain or in aluminium, vertical walls, polyurethane foam protection, etc.

Surface preparation

The surface must be clean, firm, free of dust or contaminant substances, properly prepared. The supports must be clined in order to avoid water accumulations.

Modes of application Waterproofing agent for roof.?

  Homogenize properly the product manually or low revolution electric mixer. -TEAIS SK FILM can be applied by roller, brush or Airless. - Apply one layer of TEAIS SK FILM diluted in water ( 3 parts of TEAIS SK FILM +1 part of water). - Once the primer is dry (between 8 and 12 hours according weather conditions, humidity and the absorption of the support) apply the necessary number of layers until cover all the area. - In the cases when it is necessary and in the singular points (such as vertical walls, chimney joints, etc) is possible to place a reinforcement made of fiberglass or polyester. -For the placement of the reinforcement one layer over the imprimation must be applied and while is wet the reinforcement must be placed taking the lower point as reference and overlaping 5 cm between layers. - Once it is dry this layer must be keeping applied until cover the square meters of the area (2 kg/sqm minimum). - TEAIS SK FILM must not be applied in areas where water can be stucked, in permanent immersion or prolonguez. It is recommended the follow applications according the support: - Applications in vertical walls: 1 layer of TEAIS SK FILM diluted in water as a primer (3 parts of TEAIS SK FILM + 1 part of water) + 2 layers of TEIAS SK FILM not diluted. -Applications in decks: 1 layer of TEAIS SK FILM diluted in water as a primer ( 3 parts of TEAIS SK FILM + 1 part of water) + 1 layer of TEAIS SK FILM + placement of the reinforcement while the product is wet + 1 layer of TEAIS SK FILM.
  For applications on surfaces made of PVC, polyester or existing paints, is recommended to test previously in order to check the compatibility and if it is necessary to sand the support before. - Mortars and concretes must cure at least for 28 days and can not be affected by rising-damp.

Clean up

The tools must be cleaned with water while the product is wet. Once hardens only can be removed mechanically.

Terraces and decks 2,0 kg/sqm. Walls 1,0 kg/sqm.

Storage Waterproofing agent for roof.

Un year in their original packages, tightly closed and stored in cool and dry place.

FEDER INNTERCONECTA

2015-2017 SHIAC (ITC-20151250): DESARROLLO DE TECNOLOGÍAS DE HIGIENIZACIÓN PARA LA REDUCCIÓN DE RIESGOS BIOLÓGICOS EN ACUICULTURA
El proyecto SHIAC tiene como objetivo principal la investigación y desarrollo de una estrategia integral que permita reducir el riesgo biológico en acuicultura, integrando diferentes medidas tanto de tipo activo como pasivo para la prevención de patologías con una gran incidencia económica en el sector, y aportando soluciones más sostenibles ambientalmente a las actualmente empleadas en acuicultura.
Grupo Tres Mares S.A actúa como socio representante del consorcio empresarial que ejecuta este proyecto el cual ha sido aprobado y subvencionado por CDTI en el marco de la convocatoria FEDER INNTERCONECTA 2015.
